Campus Dining

Students may bring dairy or pareve foods from home. Commercially packaged foods should have a recognized kosher certification (hechsher) accepted by the Dallas Va’ad haKashrut.

Meat products may not be brought from home. Meat served at AYA events or through school-sponsored programs will be prepared under approved kosher supervision.

Lunch can be ordered through our school lunch program. Check the monthly menus and ordering information for available options and deadlines.

Third-party food deliveries to students are not permitted on campus.

Food for classroom celebrations, parties, programs, fundraisers, or other school activities must meet AYA’s kashrut standards. Food prepared in a private home kitchen may be brought for personal consumption, but may not be shared or distributed to other students.

Mealtime is also an opportunity to practice our traditions. Students are encouraged to recite appropriate brachot, practice netilat yadayim when required, and help keep our dining spaces clean and respectful.
