Meet the Team

Marcy Kramer Kahn joined Yavneh Academy as Director of Development in 2018 and continued in that role when Akiba and Yavneh merged to become Akiba Yavneh Academy (AYA). She currently oversees all facets of Advancement and Development, including the Annual Fund, planned giving, various fundraising events, grant opportunities, and relationship-building within our community.

Prior to joining AYA, Marcy was Director of the General Campaign and Corporate Sponsorship at Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas, where she raised nearly $2 million per year on behalf of the Dallas Jewish community.

Marcy is a Past President of both Congregation Anshai Torah and The Ladies Auxiliary of the Jewish War Veterans Post #256. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from University of Rhode Island, a master’s degree in Math Education from Hofstra University and has had a robust career as an engineer, working for General Electric, Carrier Corporation, Consolidated Edison of NY and as a consultant in power plant preventive maintenance before embracing the world of philanthropy. 

Marcy is grateful for the broad tapestry that makes up the Dallas Jewish Community and is privileged to serve in this capacity on behalf of Akiba Yavneh Academy.
