Andi Bonner
Director of Admissions
Andi Bonner is in her 15th year of administration at Akiba Yavneh Academy. Over the years, she has held a variety of roles at AYA, allowing her to share both the tangible and intangible benefits of a dual curriculum Jewish education.
Andi guides prospective families through the admissions journey, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience from initial inquiry to enrollment. She holds a bachelor's degree in Hebrew and Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, and a master’s degree in personnel management.
Before relocating to the United States, Andi served as the Chief Administrator and Admissions Director at the Boston School of Advertising and Design in South Africa for four years.
A proud alumna of Jewish day school herself, Andi ensured her own children continued that legacy after the family emigrated to Dallas. Both of her children are graduates of Akiba Yavneh Academy.
Upon stepping into her role in enrollment management, Andi completed training through Prizmah’s program for admissions directors and remains an active member of its national Admissions Cohort, receiving ongoing guidance and professional development.
Outside of her professional work, Andi is active in several volunteer roles within the Dallas Jewish community. She enjoys spending time with her husband and visiting their children and grandchildren.
